Scripture: “Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life. Put away from you crooked speech, and put devious talk far from you. Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you.” — Proverbs 4:23-25
Devotional: Think of your mind like a garden. Whatever you let into it will grow. If you spend all day reading negative news, comparing yourself to people on social media, or listening to gossip, your mind will fill with anxiety. Your heart and mind direct your whole life. Guard them carefully today. Turn off the noise and focus on things that make you feel peaceful, kind, and hopeful.
Prayer: Lord, protect my mind today. Help me to tune out the negative noise around me and focus on what is true and good. Amen.
