Scripture: “Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his commandments! He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord. His heart is steady; he will not be afraid, until he looks in triumph on his adversaries.” — Psalm 112:1, 7-8
Devotional: Bad news is all around us, and the world can feel very unpredictable. However, when you know that God is looking out for you, you do not have to live in fear of what might happen tomorrow. Your safety does not depend on world events; it depends on God’s love. When scary news pops up, remind yourself that God is still good, still in control, and still right beside you.
Prayer: Father, make my heart steady. When bad news or scary situations happen, help me stay calm because I know You are protecting me. Amen.
