Scripture “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NIV)
Devotional It is easy to be thankful when life is going well, but today’s verse reminds us to anchor our joy in Christ rather than our temporary circumstances. “Praying continually” means keeping a constant, conversational relationship with God throughout your busy day. When you face a stressful situation, pause and shift your focus from complaining to gratitude. You will quickly discover that a grateful heart changes your entire perspective!
Prayer “Lord, thank You for the gift of this new day. Help me to choose joy and remain thankful in all circumstances. Give me the grace to pray without ceasing, keeping my heart connected to You no matter what comes my way. Guide my steps and fill me with Your peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
