Scripture: “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” — Isaiah 43:18-19
Devotional: Today is the first day of June. This means half of the year is behind us, and half is ahead of us. It is easy to look back at the past few months and feel bad about mistakes you made or goals you missed. But God tells us not to stay stuck in the past. He treats today like a clean slate. No matter how hard or dry your life has felt from January to May, God is starting something fresh in you right now. Take a deep breath and let go of yesterday.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for giving me a fresh start today. I hand over all my past mistakes to You. Please do something new and beautiful in my life this month. Amen.
