Devotional: The words we speak have a lot of power. They can lift someone up or crush their mood completely. In your conversations today, wherever you may be, at home, at work, or on the internet, choose to be kind. A gentle voice can stop an argument, and a nice compliment can fix a broken heart. Try to be the “good medicine” that cheers someone up today.
Prayer: Holy Spirit, help me watch what I say today. Let my words be kind, helpful, and full of life to everyone I talk to. Amen.
