Scripture: “On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, ‘If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, “Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”‘” — John 7:37-38
Devotional: You cannot pour water from an empty pitcher. If you find yourself getting angry quickly or feeling resentful, it means your inner spirit is empty and dry. Jesus invites us to come to Him daily to recharge. When we spend time filling our minds with His peace and love, we don’t just get by—we actually have extra kindness and joy to give away to others.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, fill my heart with Your peace today. Let my life be a refreshing stream of happiness and encouragement to everyone I meet. Amen.
