2 Corinthians 5:21

“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

2 Corinthians 5:21

Devotional: In a world that often demands we earn our way, this scripture tells us that Jesus took on a “debt” He didn’t owe so that we could receive a “wealth” we didn’t earn. He took our sin-our mistakes, our regrets, and our betrayals-and in exchange, He draped us in His own righteousness. You aren’t just “forgiven”; in God’s eyes, you are seen as right, pure, and whole because of what Jesus did.

Question: How would we be made acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him?

Prayer: Lord, thank You for the Great Exchange. Thank You for taking my brokenness and giving me Your beauty. Help me to live today not out of guilt, but out of the freedom of being made right with You. Amen.
