God Can Reach You

“From inside the fish Jonah prayed to the Lord his God.” Jonah 2:1

Jonah’s prayer didn’t rise from a temple or a place of victory it rose from the depths of his own mess.

Disobedient, afraid, and boxed in by consequences, he discovered something holy: God’s mercy reaches places we think are beyond redemption.

The fish was not just judgment; it was mercy disguised as confinement. In the dark, Jonah finally turned his face toward God and God was already there.

This is the grace we often miss: God does not wait for us to clean ourselves up before He listens. He meets us inside the mess, inside the belly, inside the silence we created.

When all escape routes are gone, prayer becomes honest and mercy proves faithful.

Prayer:
Lord, meet me in the places I’ve tried to avoid. Thank You that even in my mess, You are near, listening, and ready to save. Teach me to turn to You, not after the storm, but from within it. Amen.
