John 1:1-5

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ²He was with God in the beginning. ³Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. ⁴In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. ⁵The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Prayer,

Lord help us to be a vessel of Your light, shining Your love and truth to all we encounter.Thank You, Father, that the light of Jesus has shone into our heart, for we have trusted Him alone as our Saviour and Lord.Lord pour out your knowledge and wisdom upon in us so that we understand your words.In the name of the Father ,Son and the Holy Spirit.Amen.
