Imperishable Inheritance

TUESDAYDEVOTIONFICB

1 Peter 1:3-5 NIV
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy, he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,  and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil, or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you,  who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

All believers of Jesus will experience trials that bring pain and suffering in life. This is a test to prove the genuineness of our faith in Jesus.

Apostle Peter encouraged us to  greatly rejoice, for all of this suffering is temporary, and all the more we will have an inheritance that can never spoil or perish. An inheritance that is more than gold or silver.

Whatever trials and suffering we  face today. Let us  continue to fix our eyes on Jesus, our living hope.
