Publishing & Program Ministry Year-end Trip

A look back to when two ministries traveled for a retreat.

As the year draws to a close, church ministry groups need to take the time to reflect on their accomplishments and plan for the future. One great way to do this is by organizing an outdoor team-building event.

That is around December 2023, the Publishing and the Program Ministry of Filadelfia International Church Barcelona held its first year-end retreat to the quiet Natural Park of Montseny.

This not only gives members the chance to bond and have fun, but it also provides valuable insights into the strengths and weaknesses of the group.

There was a prepared program of different activities that was incorporated during that event.

For example, the game “Trust My Voice” allowed the members to realize the importance of choosing wisely whose voice to trust which learned afterwards that the farther you go away from God, the more unclear His voice will be.

After the activities, the group took the time to debrief and assess what was learned throughout the trip, there was a discussion that not only focused on what went well but also on areas where the group could improve.

Some questions raised during the fellowship were about what it means to live a life of service and how they can actively seek opportunities to serve others.

This trip was REFRESHING allowing the members of the ministry to make more plans for the upcoming year and set goals for the group to work towards.

By taking the time to reflect on the accomplishments and areas for improvement, the Pub & Pro ministry group set themselves up for success in the coming year with the full knowledge that God will always provide as they grow spiritually and serve the community effectively.

This is an encouragement to other ministries as well to find time to celebrate every accomplishment, learn from every challenge, and keep striving to serve God and the community to the best of our abilities.
