John 1:1, 3-5 NLT
[1] In the beginning, the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.
[3] God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. [4] The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. [5] The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.
Jesus is the Word, became human, and made his home among us.
He is the hope to all nations. He is the savior of the world.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, our Forgiving God, Loving and Compassionate.
Ask we ask for forgiveness. You do not remember our sin, for you are our merciful God.
Thank you, God, for sending your Son Jesus to the world, suffered, and died for the atonement of many sins. Thank you that in Him and through Him, we are forgiven, made new, and have an eternal life.
Continue to guide and help us to walk worthy of the cross. In Jesus’s Amen.
Jesus is God, and He is our Savior.
