John 15:5 NIV
[5]  “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

If you are a farmer, you will know that well cultivated trees from roots to the top will most likely bear fruits. If you are a long-time Christian  who knows the word of God, this verse is not new to you. But again, it is still here to remind and encourage believers to remain in Jesus, the true vine.

To remain in Jesus is to live on in Him in all  seasons of life. In pruning and in blossoming. Because He is the one who can help us bear fruits.  The fruits that the Lord Jesus means, I believe , are the fruits of the Holy Spirit. And that’s why he said..it will last. It is not perishable but brings transformation into a person’s  life. As we bear fruits, it will bless us and others as well.

Wherever we are in our faith right now, in season or out of season. Let us choose to remain in his truth, in his ways. Remain in Jesus.  The one who can  make us  fruitful.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, our Almighty God.  Holy and righteous. The source of our breath.
Forgive us, oh Lord, in the things that we have done that are not pleasing unto you. Help us to forgive others, too.
Thank you for the strength, peace, joy, and giving all we need to live.
Purify me and  help me to remain in your words through the work of the Holy Spirit in me. In Jesus’s name
