Live as people God wants us to be

2 Peter 3:10-11 NIV
[10] But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. [11] Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives

Three things that God reminds us today;

One: The Lord Jesus’ second coming is like a thief in the night. No one knows except God the Father.

Second: Everything in heaven and earth will be destroyed. All earthly things we work hard for will perish.

Third: God called us to live holy and godly lives.

Question: Are we living a godly life?

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, Holy and Righteous.
Thank you for your love and patience to us until today.
Lord, help us to obey your commands and take heed of your words as you called us to be Holy because you are Holy God.
In Jesus’s name, Amen.
