Philippians 4:6-7 ICB
[6] Do not worry about anything. But pray and ask God for everything you need. And when you pray, always give thanks. [7] And God’s peace will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. The peace that God gives is so great that we cannot understand it.

Elkanah had two wives, Hannah, with no son, and Peninnah had sons and  daughters. Every year, they go to Shiloh to offer sacrifice to God. And every year, Peninnah always made Hannah upset because she doesn’t have a son. One time, Hannah  didn’t guard her heart, and she ended up crying and didn’t eat. It also affects Elkanah.

But despite her sadness, Hannah prayed to the Lord. She prayed in her heart. And she was not sad anymore.

And the Lord, remember Hannah. He gave her a son. And she named him Samuel.  ( 1 Samuel 1)

Honestly speaking, there are moments of our life that we caught off guard and became anxious because of problems and worry for the future.  But like Hannah, we will not dwell in our emotions but instead let us pray in our hearts to God, who save and hear us. And his peace will be upon us.
