I was on the beach this morning. Even if I don’t know how to swim. I enjoyed stroking in the waves where I could lay my feet. All the more I enjoyed and amazed because I had companies, small fishes swimming  around me. Beautiful fishes, beautiful creations of God. Then I think of the Lord Jesus.

When the disciples were in the boat and storm appeared. The disciples woke up Jesus and asked for help.He then rebuked the winds and the waves, and it became calm. Jesus was there to save them. ( Matthew 8:23-27)

When the Samaritan woman who drew water and carried it back to her house, she just not carried the weight of the water but as well the weight of life’s uncertainty. Jesus was there. Offering himself as the living water that woman needed. ( John 4:5-30 )

When I was on the beach, stroking alone. Jesus was there in an image of his beautiful creation. Offering enjoyment and rest. How did I know? The Holy Spirit told me so.

When Peter took the lame and healed him, it was the work of the Holy Spirit. ( Acts 3:7 )

Jesus is with us, always. Til the end. Not physically but with his Spirit. He is with you and me, wherever  and whatever season  we are right now. We can call upon his name, listen to Him, and be refresh.
