Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV
[5] Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; [6] in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
This verse reminds us to put all our trust in the Lord and not our own knowledge. It tells us not to depend on our strength and not to be wise on our ways but to submit and follow Him.
This is also true when it comes to our salvation. Believing that through the death of Jesus on the cross and his resurrection. We can have eternal life if we believe and accept Him as our Lord and Savior.
And when it comes to the everyday challenges of life. There are a lot of things that we are not able to figure out why it happened or not happening. As Christian, we will continue to declare that , “My God knows what is going on, he is in control, and I trust him.”
This directs us to look less at ourselves and more to God.
