Godly Living

‭Galatians 5:13 ICB‬
[13] My brothers, God called you to be free. But do not use your freedom as an excuse to do the things that please your sinful self. Serve each other with love.

Christ sets us free from the bondage to sin. He gave us freedom to obey God’s truth.

With all the temptation that surrounds us, we need to live by the Spirit so that we will not gratify the desires of our sinful nature.
As we live by the Spirit, there is freedom to love and to serve God and others.

We are sons and daughters of God through faith in Christ Jesus. This is an encouragement to each of us that we will continue to live a godly life and serve God by serving others.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, Holy and Righteous
Full of mercy and compassion.
We thank God for setting us free from death through Jesus, your precious Son.
Lord God, continue to remind us that you freed us to obey and give glory to you.
I ask for forgiveness in all the things that we indulge that are not pleasing unto you. In Jesus’s name. AMEN
