In life, our perspectives and attitudes can undergo a beautiful transformation when we surrender our fears and doubts to the Lord.
In my case, I am aware that God has been shifting my focus from limitations to trusting in God’s abundance.
I acknowledged the work that God has been doing in my heart when my “Oh no, there are a lot of people” changed into “Lord, let there be more people to come“.
However, this is still a work in progress and it is just so good that the provisions of God are never-ending.
This change of heart opened up possibilities and opportunities for growth, connection, and impact.
In Matthew 9:37-38, Jesus speaks about the harvest being plentiful but the laborers are few.
I was being rebuked for my selfishness. It was not a good idea to take all the blessings and not share them with others.
I was encouraged to embody the spirit of abundance and welcome more people into our midst while seeing each individual as a potential channel for blessings, learning, and love.
Now, I desire to let
Jesus be known
by more and more people.
I know that in my capabilities, it will be difficult but I believe that nothing is too hard for my God.
Dear Lord,
Thank you for opening my eyes to see the abundance around me. Help me to embrace opportunities to welcome more people into my life and community with an open heart and a spirit of generosity. May my testimony be a living example of your infinite love and grace. Through Christ, who modeled how to deal with people, make me a vessel of your love towards others. Amen.
