‭1 Corinthians 10:12-13 NIV‬

So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall! No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

God set us an example in the past through the story of his people (Isaraelites) as a warning to us not to follow their example. We are reminded by God to put our trust in Him to carry us through until the end and not to think of ourselves highly above him. A message of hope that even if we fall as they did, He will remain faithful and will provide a way out for us if we also do our part. God promised to help us endure in walking set apart for him. The one who promises is faithful and He will surely bring us to completion everything He started good in us. God’s word is proven trustworthy and true. We have given a glimpse of the result of their choices. Now is the time for us to choose for ourselves. May we have faith and believe in Jesus our Immanuel. Praise God we don’t have to do it on our own because God is with us.

🙏 Thank you for your goodness, Lord. By your grace we have been saved by faith and the same grace sustains us every day. May your kindness turn us to repentance.

May you constantly remind us Lord to walk with you. Keep us in the circle of your love as we wait for your mercy to lead us to eternity.

Grant us grace to say no to ungodliness and the power to agree Yes and Amen to all your promises to us, in Jesus’ name. Amen
