Our Inner Self

Today, consider these words from Psalm 139:23-24: ‘Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.’

Let us be open to allowing God to search our hearts and reveal any areas in need of growth and transformation and be open enough to the changes that will happen after.

Let us pray: Heavenly Father, guide us as we deal with our inner self. Help us to see ourselves as you see us, with love and compassion. May we have the courage to address any shortcomings and the wisdom to embrace our true selves. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
