📖 1 John 3:20
If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.
📝 There are times in our lives when we have a strong feeling of guilt over something that we did. It is actually a good sign that the Holy Spirit of God, which dwells in us, is working for our good.
May we listen to it and not be afraid to do what the spirit wanted us to do.
It will give us the desire to change our ways and live a life dedicated to God.
Truly, God knows our heart, and our God is greater than it. So He knows everything, even the ugliest parts of us, yet He still chooses to stay and be with us.
So whenever you feel convicted of doing something undesirable, remember that although God is just, He is also merciful and full of understanding.
But be sensitive to sin and to the leading of the Holy Spirit and always find your way to repentance.
God, through the Holy Spirit, will help you.
🙏 Thank you, Lord, for knowing all of me. Knowing all the motives of my heart. Thank you for understanding that sometimes I fall short. Let my heart be soft enough to allow the Holy Spirit to guide it and rebuke any sins that come out of it. Father, don’t let my mistakes overpower me and make me shy away from you. Instead, may you use it to draw me closer to you through repentance. Thank you because you are a loving and forgiving Father. Through Christ, we pray, amen!
