Forgiveness
It is a powerful act that reflects the heart of Christ. Just as He has forgiven us unconditionally, we are called to extend that same grace and mercy to others. Let’s remember that forgiveness is not about forgetting the harm done, but about releasing the hold that hurt has over us.
📖 Matthew 18:21-22: Then Peter approached him and asked, “Lord, how many times must I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? As many as seven times?” “I tell you, not as many as seven,” Jesus replied, “but seventy times seven.
📖 In Colossians 3:13, we are told to “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, help us to imitate your love and forgiveness in our daily lives. Grant us the strength to forgive others as you have forgiven us. Teach us to treat one another with kindness and understanding, reflecting your grace and mercy. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
