📖 In Matthew 25:40, Jesus taught us, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
This profound statement from Jesus emphasizes the importance of showing hospitality and kindness towards one another.
As citizens of the kingdom of God, we are called to welcome each other with open arms, just as Christ welcomed us.
As we go about our daily lives, may we remember the words of Jesus and the example He set for us. Let us strive to show hospitality and compassion to those around us, treating each person we encounter as a beloved child of God.
🙏 Dear Heavenly Father, help us to embody the spirit of hospitality and love that Jesus demonstrated during His time on earth. Give us the strength and compassion to welcome others as Christ welcomed us, showing kindness and generosity to all. May our hearts be open to those in need, and may our actions bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
