How are we going to treat one another as fellow citizens of the kingdom according to what Jesus told us?
Humility
In His teachings, Jesus highlights the significance of humility, encouraging us to prioritize the needs and desires, the goals and interests of others above our own.
This selfless act promotes harmony and affection among our fellow members of the kingdom.
📖 Philippians 2:3-4 – “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”
It is important that we follow and embody Jesus’ example in all our interactions and treat one another with humility, as it cultivates love, respect, and unity within the community thus creating a more compassionate and connected kingdom.
🙏 Dear God, help us to embrace humility in our relationships with others, to value them above ourselves, and to always seek their well-being. May we treat one another with love and respect, following the example of Jesus. And may our actions reflect the love and selflessness that Jesus exemplified on the cross. Amen.
