This Friday, let us remember the greatest sacrifice ever made in the history of humankind.
Matthew 27:46, 48, 50 CSB
[46] About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “Elí, Elí, lemá sabachtháni?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?”
[48] Immediately one of them ran and got a sponge, filled it with sour wine, put it on a stick, and offered him a drink.
[50] But Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and gave up his spirit.
1 John 2:2 CSB
[2] Jesus, himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for those of the whole world.
Jesus, our Savior, thank you for dying so we may live. Let our lives Lord be worthy of that sacrifice. Amen. 🙏
We would also like to take this opportunity to invite you to our special prayer meeting tonight as we remember the 7 last words of our Savior Jesus Christ.
Join us and together let us praise God and be reminded of how much He loves us.
John 3:16-17 CSB
[16] For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
[17] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
See you tonight church!
