There is this line in the song “Grace” by Laura Story that goes like:
“My heart is so proud. My mind is so unfocused. I see the things you do through me as great things I have done.”
Oftentimes we claim to be great, we think that we are capable of doing amazing things while we fail to realize that without God’s might, we can do nothing.
It is good to be reminded that we should try to live a life where we focus more on making God the greatest of all and be humble enough to accept that we can only do so little compared to what God can.
John 3:30
He must become greater; I must become less.
🙏 Greatest Father, we are sorry for those times we boasted about the great things we thought we did without even recognizing you. We pray for a life that is full of gratefulness and high respect for everything that You are and all that You do. You are the greatest of all, Lord! Nothing can ever compare to you. Amen!
