When we look at the life of David in the Bible, we see a perfect example of this truth. As a young shepherd boy, David was anointed by the prophet Samuel to be the future king of Israel. From that moment on, the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon him. Despite facing enormous challenges and enemies, David accomplished extraordinary feats because he was appointed and anointed by God.
When God appoints you, He will also anoint you. He will equip you with everything you need to fulfill His purpose. He will provide the wisdom, the strength, and the courage to face the challenges that lie ahead.
His anointing will empower you to overcome obstacles, accomplish great things, and make a lasting impact on the lives of others.
But it’s important to remember that the anointing comes from God, not from our efforts or abilities. We cannot achieve it through self-promotion, manipulation, or striving. It is a gift freely given by the One who appointed us.
So, if you feel a calling on your life, if you sense that God is appointing you for a specific task or role, trust in His timing and His plans. Seek His guidance, surrender to His will, and rely on His anointing. For when God appoints you, He will equip you, empower you, and lead you to fulfill His purpose with excellence and effectiveness.
May we all embrace God’s appointments for our lives, knowing that His anointing goes before us, making a way where there seems to be no way. May we trust in Him and walk boldly in the path He has set before us. And may His appointment and anointing bring honor, glory, and blessings to His name, alone. Amen.
