King David continues to give us wise counsel in putting our confidence in God and doing what is right. Trusting God and obeying Him are two basic concepts of our faith, our obedience to God leads us to do good works.
We are also encouraged to grow deeper in our relationship with the Lord and trust His faithfulness that despite our circumstances we will find joy in Him. Trusting God means acknowledging Him in all our ways, allowing Him to direct our lives that are beneficial for us and to others. Giving Him the authority to use us for His greater purpose.
God is also inviting us to constantly dwell in His presence and abide in Christ Jesus, striving to follow his examples and to delight ourselves in a commitment of our faith to Him. King David tells us that God has a plan for us and He will accomplish it at the right time. In the meanwhile we must persevere to put our faith into action by doing good and cultivating good relationships with those people around us.
Prayer: Lord help us to trust more in you and give us a heart that fully abides by your will. Make us a channel of your blessings by doing good work for those people around us. In Jesus’ Name Amen!
