God has a purpose for you.
Some things that happened in the past might still pains us. But so much of what we become now is brought to us by our experiences in the past including those harmful ones.
𝘑𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘱𝘩, 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 but hated and plotted by his own brothers, thrown into an empty well, later sold to the merchants and was brought to Egypt. There he was falsely accused of attempting rape which lead him to prison.
Despite what had happened to him, 𝘏𝘦 𝘬𝘦𝘱𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘮𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘎𝘰𝘥’𝘴 𝘦𝘺𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘩𝘪𝘮 in everything he do 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘩𝘪𝘮 in wherever he go.
While in the prison, Joseph was used by God to interpret Pharaoh’s dream that led Him to be promoted to the highest position in Egypt. He was put in charge of saving up food for the famine to come.
One day his family also came to Egypt for help. Initially, he felt the pain of the past seeing His brothers yet his response changed when it came to his senses that he would not arrived at his position without all of their doings.
Revenge was not his theme anymore because of the opportunities God brought him forth.
God used Joseph to save many lives including his very own family.
Genesis 50:20 NLT
You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.
You may not like where you are right now but just like Joseph, may you keep trusting God, do what is right, and walk by faith. He chose to forgive his brothers because he saw God’s purpose in all his difficulties.
No matter what happens, God’s plans and purpose will succeed. Keep believing and you will see how God will turn your difficulty into His opportunity.
God’s intention is for good with a purpose. As we do our part, God will rewrite our story. Our journey is not done yet. Have faith! 🙏
