Psalms 34:19 NLT
The righteous person faces many troubles, but the LORD comes to the rescue each time.

There are stories in the bible that tell us about the Lord’s deliverance of His people. One of these is the story of Daniel being put in the den of hungry lions by faithfully praying only to one true God. And we all know how this story ends. He was rescued by God and kept safe in the lion’s den.

As we faithfully follow God, we are confident of His protection and provision. But that doesn’t mean that we are exempted from experiencing hardship and challenges in life. Even Jesus told us that as we follow Him, we will experience a lot of troubles and persecution because of our faith.
But the Lord promised to come and rescue us and deliver us from all the troubles. There are moments when God rescued us by providing the strength we need to endure the trials. Only by His grace can we overcome those challenges, and it is also important to follow godly wisdom to avoid getting into trouble.

This is our confidence that whatever trials and circumstances we may face in our lives as believers, God will always come to rescue us!

Prayer:
Almighty Father, thank you that you always come to rescue us, You are our fortress whom we can take refuge in times of trouble. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
