There are times in our lives when we have a strong feeling of guilt over something wrong or undesirable that we did.
That is actually a good sign that the Holy Spirit of God , which dwells in us, is working and trying to convict us to come close to God and ask for grace and forgiveness.
The best thing we can do is listen to it and be not afraid to do what the spirit wanted us to do. It will give us the desire to change our ways and live a life dedicated to God.
1 John 3:20
If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.
This is our confidence. God knows our hearts, and God is greater than it. So he knows everything, even the ones we didn’t make right, but then, he still chooses to remain in us.
May we always be sensitive to conviction, and may we consider condemnation is of a little value compared to the greatness of God’s heart.
We can always rest assured that God’s understanding is greater than we can imagine.
Be sensitive to sin, and may we always find our way to repentance each time we fall short.
God, through the Holy Spirit, will help us.
🙏 Thank you, Lord, for knowing all of me. Knowing all the motives of my heart. Thank you for understanding that sometimes I fall short. Let my heart be soft enough to allow the Holy Spirit to guide it and rebuke any sins that come out of it. Father, don’t let my mistakes overpower me and make me shy away from you. Instead , may you use it to draw me closer to you through repentance. Thank you because you are a loving and forgiving Father. Amen!
