📖 1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

📝 Have you ever felt like you were so disconnected to God? Like you became too far from him?

Surely, yes! We all do, sometimes! One of the reasons for this is because we were sinning, but we didn’t or wouldn’t confess.

Confessing a sin is oftentimes a difficult thing to do. It requires you too much humility, swallowing of pride, vulnerability, exposure, and even surrendering of your weaknesses!

But confession of your sins towards God will give you safety and assurance that you will be forgiven and even be purified.

Let’s make it a habit to confess daily to Him, for we know that every day, we are sinning even in little ways.

🙏 Lord, thank you for your faithfulness towards us. Have mercy on us, Lord, as we confess our faults and shortcomings to you and even to others as well. We pray for restoration of what’s broken and even healing for the wounds that we knowingly or even those we unintentionally caused. We are sorry for falling short of your glory. May you give us a heart that acknowledges mistakes, humble enough to confess it and strength and willingness to avoid it.
